The Operations Manager coordinates chemical production operations of the GE Water & Process Technologies New Philadelphia, OH facility.
-Ensures all manufacturing functions are staffed and well trained to perform their duties effectively.
-Leads or supports all key manufacturing metrics, such as EHS, product quality, fulfillment, variable cost targets, inventory, lean, and support capital projects.
-Delivers external customer satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives and value-added projects using Six Sigma and Lean processes.
-Drives growth and change in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
-Leads in all operations employee relations matters, communicates actively, listens openly, and is highly flexible.

Qualifications
-BA / BS Degree.
-Production experience, with proven plant/production leadership or supervisor experience.
-Six Sigma training and Lean manufacturing experience (GE Employees Only).
Desired
-BA / BS Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Operations Management.
-Six Sigma certified, preferably Black Belt (GE Candidates only).
-OMLP graduate (GE Candidates only).
-Payroll time and attendance system experience. (Kronos or E-time)
-Strong employee relations skills, including coaching and communication.
