John Deere Credit is looking for a Dealer Finance Representative in the Construction & Forestry Division to manage and coordinate the sales finance credit process for a John Deere Dealership.
This position is located at the Johnston, IA - JDC Headquarters (60% of time) and at a John Deere Dealership in the Des Moines area (40% of time).
Starting salary range: $44,000 - $54,000 commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
Manages and coordinates the sales finance credit process for construction and forestry dealers.
Manages, centralizes and coordinates the preparation and submittal of credit applications, Uniform Commercial Code filings and supporting documentation from John Deere Credit and the dealer sales staff.
Handles accounts receivable and the sales finance credit process for assigned dealers.
Works with John Deere Credit and dealership personnel to resolve account problems, facilitate broker relationships and close sales.
Coordinates and trains dealers and customers on the use of finance tools.
Assists with the development of finance programs and promotions.
Manages, tracks, monitors and reports the status of dealership portfolio performance measures to management.
Knowledge of credit operations, finance programs, dealer agreements and dealer reserve procedures, ideally including the processes followed at John Deere Credit.
Knowledge of dealers and other channels.
Knowledge of construction and forestry industry markets, products, and customers helpful.
Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style.
Strong communicator among a variety of groups.
Miscellaneous degree or equivalent experience.
Experience working in customer service or related customer-oriented environment.
Sales/marketing management experience helpful.
Experience working in the finance industry preferred.
