The Connected TV Technology team is building software and services to create a richer and more meaningful experience for advertisers, content producers, distributors, and consumers. We're a small, entrepreneurial team working together to get things done very quickly in an agile environment. We have an unusually good time and we're looking for kindred spirits to bring, not only their talent, but also their entire personality to the table. Specifically, we need a highly technical program manager to help design the tools and foster the relations needed for 3rd parties to bring their content to our highly-scalable, highly-available video service platform.
Responsibilities include writing functional and technical specifications, working with the development team on system design and architecture, forging partnerships with other Microsoft teams, and driving the project schedule for owned feature areas.
Qualifications include 3+ years program management experience and a significant track record of shipping scalable and reliable platforms or services on time. Strong experience working with server technologies (HTML, JScript, SQL, IIS, web services) is required. Good communication skills, independent drive, customer focus, ability to ramp up quickly on new technology, and driving for results are all expected. No knowledge of TV technologies is necessary, but a passion for television is a must. Some travel is required.
