The John Deere Construction & Forestry Divisions is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to provide strategic planning & market analysis for Advanced Customer Solutions projects to drive fact-based decision making. In this position, you will:

Provide customer and marketing representation for the development and implementation of hybrid power technologies/vehicle electrification across product lines.
Continue the development of the 764 High Speed Dozer (HSD) as an advanced customer solution while also integrating it into the Crawler product line. Enhance initial customer experiences with HSD Market Development units and lead efforts to analyze and evaluate actual work site economics data to drive improvements.
Develop & manage a marketing portfolio of Advanced Customer Solutions. Periodically prioritize and reallocate to drive innovation based upon customer needs and market research. Coordinate with Enterprise groups and processes, including IMET, AIP and Critical Component Deliver Process (CCDP).
Manage Lead User Group process, planning and leading conferences. Ensure appropriate follow-up to incorporate LUG feedback in product development activities.
Ensure frequent dealer and customer interaction to gather customer requirements, develop dealer expertise, and manage product innovations. Represent C&F at trade shows & customer events.
Monitor and report key competitor activities & market strategies.
Work with cross-functional teams to create & execute detailed plans for flawless product launches.
Work with retail channel across US and Canada for dealer development in support of new product innovations and to achieve planned product sales volumes after launch. Will work, as needed, with retail channel for Global product sales.
Work with Corporate Business Development and Product Consultants to ensure product innovations are meeting the needs of key customer groups.
Regularly provide information for marketing communications and trade journals.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a Marketing, Business or Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
Advanced degree preferred.
Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrated sales and marketing skills.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects.
Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data and interpret the results.
Position may be located in either Moline, Illinois or Dubuque, Iowa.
Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally, up to 50%.
Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge of hybrid power technologies and/or vehicle electrification strongly preferred.
Experience working with dealers, other marketing channels and customers.
Knowledge of Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
Experience with John Deere construction & forestry equipment.
Experience in negotiating and understanding commercial contracts.
