E&D Solution Manager, Downstream
The Entertainment and Devices Systems team is looking for a passionate, high energy individual for the position of Sales and Channel Management Solution Manager. As part of the E&D Solution Management team, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing the "next generation" of sales systems, tools, and processes that supports the Entertainment & Devices (E&D) division's end-to-end sales and channel management activities. This requires depth of knowledge and experience in forecasting, planning, sales, relationship management, order management and fulfillment, and supporting Supply Chain activities such as sourcing, manufacturing, finished product logistics, and experience in system implementations and enterprise solutions.
As a Sales and Channel Management Solution Manager, the right candidate should enjoy both IT Systems and customer focused processes and be drawn to the excitement of rapid changes related to emerging business strategies and employing technology to meet business goals. You will be an integral part of a team of professionals owning the design and delivery of end to end processes and systems for E&D, including Xbox, Zune, PC Hardware, and all retail software and games. Core job responsibilities:
Partner with key business stakeholders and business user teams to provide trusted advisor thought leadership in defining business architecture and business process, identifying system investment options, drive collaboration and consensus and accomplish process and systems development around the globe.
Review business and systems practices and processes, creating partnerships with both business clients & Program Management peers to drive alignment of business strategy, business processes and supporting solutions
Elicit and articulate requirements using Value Stream Mapping workshops, process development workshops, interviews, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints
Document requirements clearly, concisely, comprehensively to appeal to development teams and to business stakeholders who must review and approve.
Develop and deliver on a global vision, strategy and future state architecture for the systems solutions.
Develop and present solution proposals & recommendations, including analysis of options, justifications, and tradeoffs
Partner with peers and business managers ensuring alignment with global Systems technology roadmap and architectures.
Ensure final solution delivery meets the critical business needs of the sponsor
Qualifications:
8+ years experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Channel Management functions, preferably in the high tech/electronics manufacturing and distribution industry.
Solution Management experience developing and implementing process and system infrastructure.
Experience with structured implementation methodologies and process improvement techniques such as Lean and Six Sigma, and experience in a functional or business consulting role driving business strategy, architecture and process re-engineering.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills including facilitation leadership and presentation development
Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels
Ability to excel in ambiguous business situations by adapting plans and approach
Analytical and organizational skills. Sound problem resolution, negotiation, judgment and decision-making skills
Solid Microsoft centric IT skills: Visio, Project, Outlook, Word and advanced Excel
BA or BS degree in Business, or related field. Graduate professional degree preferred
