The XNA LIVE Server team is looking for a strong Software Developer to become part of the XNA team that delivers the game server development platform for extending Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows LIVE. We have delivered this technology in games like Project Gotham Racing 3 & 4, Forza 2, and Viva Pi?ata, and are now expanding that to more developers as a platform product. We are leading the effort to stay ahead of the competition in the area of online gaming innovation.
As an SDE on our web UI team, you will own development of functional and dynamic web interfaces to online game features for publishers, administrators, and players. In this position you have the opportunity to interact directly with customers.

As a key contributor we want you to: develop quality back-ends and APIs that enable new online game feature innovation (think tournaments, clans, user-generated content, stats, auctions, etc.), design components and abstraction layers for serious extensibility, provide technology that enables huge scalability, implement new classes of online game features, work directly with game teams to craft custom solutions for online game features, develop usable web interfaces and widgets, and much more.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in development using C#, HTML, JavaScript and related web technologies, and strong communication skills. Previous experience with C++, SQL, networking and protocols, and/or game feature development is very desirable as well.
