*This position reports directly to the plant manager and provides site-wide leadership for the maintenance, and facilities
*Responsible for establishing vision and setting priorities for all maintenance activities.
*Direct the activities of hourly teams of maintenance and production personnel.
*Provides technical guidance on equipment repair, inspection, preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
*Manage annual maintenance outage planning, scheduling, staffing, and execution of work.
*Coordinate resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effect strategy.
*Coordinate activities to maximize safety, and quality.
*Develop and implement process controls.
*Coordinate shift turnovers.
*Employ Six Sigma rigors to all functions.
*Drive boundaryless change.
Qualifications
*BA / BS degree.
*Green Belt Certified (GE employees only).
Desired
*Familiar with maintenance management systems.
*Demonstrated track record of achieving and delivering on business metrics.
*Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement efforts in a high-impact, team-based setting.
*Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
*Sound financial and project management background.
*Prior supervisory experience.
