Diesel Engine COE Quality Manager
|
Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree.
* 5+ years business or manufacturing leadership experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall assessment and improvement of quality in the Engine Sub-system. Work directly with internal and external Engineering and Sourcing personnel, using Lean tools to ensure that GE Transportation suppliers' processes and systems deliver products that will meet customer driven performance and reliability requirements. Able to demonstrate Project Leadership skills for multiple simultaneous projects. Perform global on-site supplier process and product audits as required.
DESIRED
Bachelors degree in Engineering or technical discipline with knowledge in electronics design or manufacturing.
Training or experience with statistical process control and capability studies, and an understanding of Six Sigma Quality Systems.
In line quality development experience.
ISO training experience.
Strong leadership ability, project management and team facilitation skills.
Excellent written/oral communication skills, influencing and interpersonal skills.
Accomplishments that reflect teamwork, accountability and speed.
Ability to travel.
Prior Manager Level experience preferred.
