Financial Analyst, IAC - Consumer Applications and Portals White Plains, NY The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and play a vital role in supporting the forecasting, planning and analytical processes of IAC Consumer Applications & Portals (IACCAP). The position will have four key responsibilities in addition to ad hoc projects: (1) work with business/department managers to develop budgets/forecasts and report on actual results during month-end close process, (2) help to improve and maintain intelligence and budgeting tools (primarily Hyperion Planning and Essbase systems plus various Excel models), (3) partner with the accounting department on the monthly close process and related publication of close analytics packages and (4) play a key role in the maintaining the consolidated financial budget and outlook. Responsibilities Partnering with business/department managers to create department-level expense budgets and quarterly forecasts Developing and maintaining weekly "dash-board" on changes in key financial metrics Preparing monthly variance analyses as part of close process Partnering with the company's accounting team with month-end and quarter-end close reporting with respect to the close package and the accuracy and completeness of the financial results Play key role in the ongoing development of the business intelligence and budgeting tools in Hyperion (Essbase and Planning) and Oracle Provide ad hoc financial analysis projects Experience & Requirements: B.S. degree preferably in finance, accounting, economics or related field 4-6 years of direct FP&A experience ideally in a small to mid-size, high-growth company Experience should include ongoing reporting responsibilities as well as analytical projects Advanced Excel skills a must Systems savvy - Experience with Hyperion and Oracle desired Strong written and verbal communication skills Good relationship building skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and high-growth environment IAC is recognized by Fortune magazine as the most admired company in the Internet Services and Retailing industry for both 2007 and 2008.
