Overview
As the TV and Film Producer, you will play a key role in overseeing the video page and catalog at Zune, as well as the subgenres associated with video. You will engagingly merchandise video in an inspired fashion, and ensure the content featured across your pages reflects the identity and overall marketing objectives of Zune that is competitive and delights our customers. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based upon need and your additional areas of expertise.
Working alongside the entertainment marketing team, you'll conceptualize genre-based features and create thematic discovery mechanisms. You'll regularly communicate with our video partners, identify new video for our catalog, and maintain a current and updated page, keeping abreast of upcoming priorities and determining which new and catalog releases to feature. You may also manage and motivate vendor and freelance content contributors.
Using proprietary content management tools, you will generate and update Web pages and video offers. You will acquire the assets necessary for the implementation of your features and programming. Additionally, you will review incoming video titles to ensure the metadata and genre classification is correct, working with the ingestion operations team to correct misclassified titles in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities
Merchandize video in on-line music store
Determine new and catalog video to feature
Work with the team to conceptualize genre-based features
Use proprietary Web page creation tools to generate and update pages
Review incoming video releases to ensure metadata and genre classification is correct
Work with ingestion operations team to correct misclassified titles
Regularly communicate with video partners
Keep abreast of new releases, trends, priorities, and important video for our brand
Maintain brand identity and voice throughout your page
Secure images from various sources or other assets as required
Requirements
Must have 5 years of experience in online video or equivalent space
Must be technically adept and proficient with html and Web publishing
Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with many people
Must have an undying passion for video and entertainment, and technology, and a deep knowledge of the current video space
