The Plant Manager leads all Service Center Operations:

-Directs the Regeneration Department.

-Responsible for Hiring and Staffing using the established procedures.

-Delivers or reviews all Service Center reports to include, but not limited to, payroll reconciliation, activity, personnel, annual evaluations, disciplinary, address and status change, accident and metric reports.

-Directs Maintenance Technicians, Contractors, and other personnel in the maintenance of onsite business, product and Service Center equipment.

-Teams with the Fleet Department in the maintenance of tractors, trailers, and plant vehicles.

-Develops and leads maintenance procedures to provide peak production.

-Maintains a safe working environment compliant with all federal, state, and company regulations.

-Ensures all Production / Plant and Maintenance staff complete training requirements.

-Coordinates Service Center activity with Logistics.

-Responsible for leading all key production metrics, such as product quality, fulfillment, variable costs targets, inventory and EHS.

-Manages Delivery Specialist and assists with DOT compliance.

-Develops appropriate dialogues with local government regulatory departments.

-Leads all employee relations matters, communicates actively, listens openly, and is highly flexible.

-Maintains and develops procedures, documents necessary to maintain the ISO Quality system and certifications.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's Degree.

-At least five years of management experience with demonstrated plant / production experience.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

-Possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

-Valid drivers license and good driving record history.

-Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

-Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments to include, but not limited to, industrial, manufacturing and power industry facilities.

-Ability and willingness to reside in location of posting.

-If currently a GE employee, you must have been in your current position for at least 12 months and have at least a satisfactory performance rating.

Desired

-Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and awareness.

-Demonstrated excellent communication skills.

-Ability to grasp and comprehend new software applications.

-At least fours years of experience in the Water Treatment Industry.

-Experience to include deionization, reverse osmosis, and deoxygenation.

-Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations and DOT compliance experience.

-B.S. in Engineering, Science or Business desired.

-At least four years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations setting.

-Demonstrated personnel management techniques.

-Six Sigma and Lean training and experience.

-Knowledge of applicable State Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.

-Accountable and strategic.

-Customer Focused.

-Strong critical thinking skills, with a sense of urgency.

-OLMP graduate (GE candidates only).
