Process-Mechanical Engineer
|
Job Description:
Skolnik Industries is always looking for the best talent in our industry. The following position isnot actually open at this time. However, we want to know you if you fit this description and we will stay in touch as openings arise.
We are always looking for great Process Engineers and/or Mechanical Engineers. Our company manufactures steel containers that are used for safe transport and disposal of radioactive, nuclear and toxic materials. You might say that we have a low-tech process that serves a high-tech market, but don't be fooled, our manufacturing process complies with Nuclear Quality Assurance 1 - a Federal quality format.
We are looking for you to already have some experience in manufacturing, perhaps 5-10 years of problem solving, product development, manufacturing process improvement, and tool and die maintenance. Also, you will be responsible for product testing to regulatory standards. Knowledge of Federal specifications (CFR) would be helpful. Proficiency in Solidworks is a big plus!
We are a small company (80 total) and you would be expected to be capable of managing the department schedule and projects as you would report directly to the VP of Manufacturing.
