Mid Level CADD Technician
|
Job Description:
Our Natural Resource, Industry and Infrastructure (NRII) unit is looking to add a Mid-Level CADD Technician / Jr Level Designer to support their Denver, Colorado office location. The primary responsibilities for this role will include:
' Providing Computer-Aided Drafting support services to various Civil Engineering based projects performed by the NRII group throughout the Rocky Mountain Business Unit. (Projects will also extend outside of the RMBU)
' Produce drawings within set budget constraints
' Completion of CADD work will require application of standard guidelines outlined in the RMBU NRII CADD Standards
Qualifications
' 3 to 5 years of working knowledge and experience with the application of AutoCAD Release 2004-2008 software is required
' Must be capable of producing correctly drafted and detailed Computer-Aided Drafting and Design drawings in two and three dimensions, understanding of 3-D views and objects
' Knowledge of imperial and metric systems is applicable
' Will work in compliance with accepted drafting techniques
' Will need to demonstrate an ability to work well in a group (team) environment
' Must maintain a high level of productivity, limited travel / overtime and demonstrate a degree of flexibility in their weekly schedule to help meet project milestones and deliverables
' Reports to and works under the direction of the local CAD Manager
