* Become a part of the GE Wind Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Wind Farm Management Systems (WFMS) from Inquiry to Order (ITO) to contractual completion.
* Accurately commission the systems and perform all acceptance testing to ensure correct system performance.
* Follow-up customer issues and perform necessary troubleshooting and corrective measures.
* Work with other GE field support organizations, acting as the "top-tier" field support for the SCADA and Wind Farm Management products. These products include WindSCADA, VisuPro, and web-based turbine HMI.
* Prompt closure of field issues , interfacing with engineering on known issues and solutions, and promptly issuing feedback to the product development teams. These duties will be achieved directly and through leadership of a global support team. It will also include coordinating field efforts in order to support the new product introductions and the validation of these products during field trials.

Qualifications
* BS degree in Engineering, or other technical degree or 4 yrs of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Electronic Technician, or Fiber-optic networking, or Refinery Technician working with DCS.
* Minimum of 1 year experience in applying, commissioning and supporting data acquisition and reporting systems, with particular emphasis on troubleshooting.
* Greenbelt Certified (GE employees only).

* Willingness to travel 75% to 95% occasionally with short notice.

Desired
* Working knowledge of SCADA systems and real time control design and implementation.
* Minimum of 1 year experience commissioning wind turbines with emphasis on troubleshooting.
* Experience in operating user interfaces for real-time and historical data.
* Experience in software, particularly Delphi, C / C++, VB, or SQL.
* Understanding of electric utility industry.
* Strong analytical capabilities and ability to lead in cross-functional and global team environments.
* Ability to quickly establish credibility with internal and end-user customers.
* Ability to solve problems under time pressure and rigorous quality and process focus.
* Willingness to travel extensively (~75%), occasionally with short notice.
