Explanation Statement
John Deere Dubuque Works is seeking a Material Flow Coordinator to be responsible for maintaining Kanban set-ups. In this position, you will:
Lead inventory accuracy meetings.
Work closely with production lines to insure no material disruptions.
Work with suppliers on material flow issues.
Work with buyers to resolve packaging, early shipments etc.
Assist with inventory reduction.
Work with warehouse to coordinate material transfer from stores to production line.
Be a certified parts counter.
Lead small projects.
Maintain required material flow reports.
Education
Misc degree or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Ability to work with a variety of individuals in a team environment.
Ability to drive results.
Data analysis skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with host systems, such as a Common Purchasing System (CPS).
Experience with MRP or ERP.
Advanced MS Office Excel skills, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, index match, etc.
Experience using Business Objects.
Experience working with engineering specifications.
Experience working in supply management or materials management.
