Overview :
The Marketing FAC Coordinator manages the Final Approved Copy (FAC) process for all marketing communications, advertising and training materials for internal clients at Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. This position processes FAC submissions, schedules and runs the FAC committee meetings, establishes and enforces internal FAC deadlines, physically moves FAC submissions from one step to the next, uploads documents to the FAC website for committee members, and ensures that all FAC meeting outcomes are communicated to internal customers, the production staff, and ad agencies and other external vendors. The Marketing FAC Coordinator works closely with the Corporate Legal Counsel and Outside Counsel to ensure that FDA guidelines are being followed and communicates such requirements to all team members, internal customers and outside vendors. The Marketing FAC Coordinator assists the Marketing Project Coordinator, Senior Production Manager and Executive Director of Creative Services as necessary through the entire FAC process.
Responsibilities :
Manage the Final Approved Copy (FAC) process through scheduling and running the weekly meetings, including notifying participants of the schedule, disseminating documents for review, conducting the weekly meetings, documenting and recording all comments and disseminating the meeting outcomes to all interested parties
Communicate and enforce adherence to FAC procedures and timelines with internal clients, advertising agencies and creative vendors
Transcribe all post FAC comments and hand off and explain all post FAC comments to Creative Services team and internal clients
Meet and confer with Corporate Legal Counsel and Outside Counsel for final legal approval before releasing materials for final production
Provide final samples of produced approved materials to Legal and Compliance Departments
Obtain Legal approval for submital of appropriate documents of final approved materials to DDMAC as required
Ensure final documents comply with corporate and FDA requirements, file and maintain records related to FAC in proper job files
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years experience
Paralegal or legal secretarial experience, proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional and Outlook
