John Deere Dubuque Works is seeking a Design Engineer to develop cooling systems for Four Wheel Drive Loader new product development programs. In this position, you will:
Design the cooling system mounting structure, fan drive system, plumbing and work with suppliers to develop primary heat exchanger components.
Lead the development of overall machine noise reduction solutions from initial concept through electronic evaluation and physical verification.
Qualifications
Education
Four year degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
2+ years experience in cooling system design and/or testing.
Knowledgeable in the application of analytical tools for prediction of cooling system performance.
Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
Experience with a variety of engineering tools, systems and databases.
Experience with Pro/E or other similar 3D modeling software.
Desired Skills and Experience
Computational fluid dynamics knowledge and or experience.
General understanding of the John Deere Construction and Forestry Enterprise Product Delivery Process.
Knowledge of the Design of Experimentation process.
