John Deere World Headquarters is seeking an IT Analyst to provide application development and support to Export Order systems. In this position, you will:
Work closely with a broad group of stakeholders including EOD Management, EOD Operations, Logistics Accounting, and Third-party logistics providers (3PL) on a daily basis to address on-going business needs.
Serves as a team member on project teams focused on enablement and continuous improvement of Export Order-related processes.
Use process knowledge and analysis skills in support of the implementation and integration of new and improved business processes.
Provide input on work estimates, and schedules for project-related work.
Qualifications
Education
Four year degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
1+ years experience with DB2 and IMS.
Software programming skills necessary to create and maintain host-based applications, including experience in the SAS and COBOL programming languages.
Analytic skills required to understand complex system interactions, debug issues within the system scope, and understand impact of system changes on related processes.
Experience delivering projects within defined timeframe.
Desired Skills and Experience
Business process knowledge of the Export Order process.
Experience working with EDI transactions.
