John Deere Phoenix International is seeking a Warranty and Reliability Analyst to provide complex analysis of product problem data to support decisions and product improvements. Analysis of the similarities and differences of multiple electronic product lines and applies the knowledge as a unit expert in warranty/reliability analysis. In this position, you will:

Serve as a warranty expert in providing information to product teams so design modifications and improvements can be implemented.
Conduct complex, specialized analyses of product problem and reliability data such as warranty coverage and component life and repair cost estimates.
Monitor complex new reports and metrics using innovative approaches.
Participate on process teams in the product problem resolution and reliability areas.
Responsible for estimating and calculating returns and allowances for current product improvements.
Communicate with customers regarding the plans and results of warranty projects.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Accounting, Marketing, or any engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience working as an active team member on large projects.
Ability to interface with the end customer to better understand their experience with the product.
Willing and able to travel up to 25%.

Desired Skills and Experience

Understanding of John Deere Warranty systems.
Understanding of John Deere Product Lines.
Understanding of Agriculture or construction industry.
Ability to organize and influence individuals outside of the organization.
Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
