As our Store Manager, you'll lead and manage all in-store activities to achieve sales and profitability goals, as well as ensure long-term business growth in accordance with Nike's brand philosophies, policies and procedures. You'll maintain the operating budget through revenue generation and managing controllables in order to deliver a positive financial performance. You'll also ensure consistent implementation of operating standards, including product flow planning and completion, execution of markdowns, seasonal promotions and initiatives and merchandise presentation. This opportunity also involves providing relevant market information to our District Stores Director and consistent leadership to your staff. In addition, you'll recruit and hire top talent, provide ongoing coaching and counseling, implement development strategies, create succession plans, and effectively manage performance and corrective action processes in order to drive Human Resources planning.
Requirements for the position include:
- 3 years' retail management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree)
- Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people leadership and management
- Extensive experience and the ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service in a brand retailer
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Retail business systems
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to build, lead and manage high-performing teams
- Ability to utilize tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
- Ability to, with or without accommodation, have the proficient use of both sensory perception/clarity and muscle control/coordination. This may include vision (near, far, color, glare control), hearing (auditory attention, sound localization), speech, strength, agility, dexterity, flexibility, steadiness or reaction time
- Nike retail experience preferred
