The Academy at Swift River is a college preparatory therapeutic boarding school that specializes in working with adolescents ages 14-17.5 (Grades 9-12) having social, academic and familial difficulties. We are currently looking for a creative, energetic, and dedicatedProgram Supervisor to oversee our Residential Life Department. Swift River is located in Western Massachusetts, surrounded by the scenic Berkshire Mountains where you can ski in the winter and mountain bike in the summer!
Job Responsibilities:
* Meets weekly with Subordinate staff and participates in treatment review meetings.
* Supervises and manages program and/or residential staff in all or some areas of counseling, treatment, parent relations, training and program responsibilities.
* Responsible for recruitment, professional development, assignment of duties,approval of leave requests and expenses, performance mangement and personnel actions, and serving as resource consultation and advice for staff.
* Prepares and implements individualized student development plans based on student's specific needs.

Requirements:
* Bachelors level courses in psychology, sociology, teaching, or other related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years experience working with adolescents in a behavioral development program.
* Minimum of 1 year experience with "at risk" youth.
* Extensive walking, hiking, or biking may be required.
