Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, Transportation Function: Services Location: Denver, CO Job #: 836335 Posted: Jul 21, 2008 Responsibilities * Provide leadership and direction to railroad hourly employees, providing clear direction on the job they are to perform, including all appropriate documentation. * Interpret and insure adherence to GE work scopes. * Encourage and maintain safe work environment. * Maintain clean and orderly work areas. * Responsible for FRA compliance, OSHA work practices, and specific local customer safety policies. * Provide feedback to other GE teams for updates to work scopes and shop process. Qualifications * Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering OR HS diploma/GED plus minimum of 5+ years experience in industrial operations or minimum of 5+ years military leadership experience. * Willingness to work various shifts various days. * Ability to work in shop environment (for example: navigate up and down ramps and stairs, non air conditioned environment). * Experience in Microsoft office applications.
