Position : G2 Brand & Design - Account Supervisor / Account Executive

Description :

G2 Branding & Design is looking for an Account Supervisor and an Account Executive for a leading beer account.

We are seeking enthusiastic Account Management candidates whose passion, experience and interest lies in the area of delivering premium brand experiences to 21-30 year old consumers. Ideally candidates should have promotional marketing experience preferably in the Beer, Spirits, or CSD category.

The candidates should be organized, self-starters who are able to work with creative teams to deliver promotional marketing ideas driven by brand/channel strategy. They should understand how an idea is meant to be executed (from logistics, practicalities, feasibility perspective), and be able to motivate a team to achieve results.

The Account Supervisor will lead the development of strategies and marketing programs with a focus on the “on-premise” channel - Primarily Casual Dining and Impact channels (bars, lounges, night clubs)..

The Account Executive will assist the Account Supervisor and broader G2 HUSA team.

Account Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for the client through understanding the brand(s), category and competitive landscape as it relates to the on-premise channel
• Actively manage client relationships to service their business needs and contribute to the growth of engagement by building strong relationships
• Assist senior account team with development of annual/business plans and strategic planning initiatives
• Supervise 2 x AE’s and provide leadership, direction, training, skill and career development
• Stewarding the creative process to ensure solutions are idea centric, meet the needs of the on-premise brief, and are integrated in the overall strategic and creative programs for synergy
• Ensure team/account is 100% compliant with agency and account process around briefs, estimates, financial controls, legal, production, approvals, etc. – specific to requirements for HUSA
• Financial stewardship to ensure proper controls, process, compliance utilization and overall profitability of the account
• Keep agency and client teams aware of issues and challenges to actively manage expectations and reinforce trust

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience of the promotional marketing and /or retail activation
• Passion and enthusiasm for advertising/marketing
• 3-5 years of marketing, advertising or agency experience
• Alcohol beverage, CPG, and/or premium / luxury brand experience very important
• Excellent leadership/management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Team player that is positive and upbeat

Account Executive

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the account (or project) and take ownership of workflow, schedules and budgets
• Own the creative briefing process and coordination of all internal team members
• Manage and maintain internal and external correspondence in service of the day-to-day business needs (eg, client communication, meeting reports, documentation of verbal agreements, etc.)
• Manage execution of timelines and the internal team’s role at delivering to project timelines
• Directly manage client billing; create/review financial status reports, labor hour reconciliations (estimates to actual), ensure all estimates are signed prior to the onset of work
• Liaise with other integrated services (including media, digital, Hispanic, etc.) to meet campaign needs
• Assist Account Supervisor with scope of work development, estimating
• Work with team to coordinate and participate in brainstorming and planning sessions
• Responsible for AAE direction, training, and development (when applicable)

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years promotional marketing experience
• Experience of managing projects from start to completion
• Self-starter, needs little supervision and can tackle next steps without instruction
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong multi-tasking skills in fast paced environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, familiarity with Macintosh hardware a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
