The Traffic Manager reports to the Director of Advertising Operations and manages online ad traffickers, optimizes, reports and analyzes monthly ad impressions for Comcast Interactive Media’s family of entertainment websites including Fandango.com, Movies.com, and Fancast.com.
The role you could play with us:
Manage ad traffic team with traffickers based in LA and NY
Traffic all online ad campaigns sold by the Fandango sales team
Interact with internal staff and external clients on a daily basis to ensure that campaigns are trafficked to contract requirements
Monitor and analyze existing campaigns to ensure quality performance on a daily basis – optimize and reallocate inventory as needed
Serve as the primary escalation point for clients during the run of the ad campaigns, and internally interface with the Marketing and Technology teams
Troubleshoot technical issues associated with ad campaigns (These issues may include, but are not limited to, ineffective tracking, mis-implementation of tags, and incorrect creative specs)
Coordinate the encoding of video ad creative to Flash.
Be familiar with multiple click tracking, out-of-banner tracking and implementation (Eyeblaster, PointRoll, etc.)
Create traffic reporting
Update and maintain advertising-related documentation (ad specs, blacklists, etc.)
It is important to us that you have the following:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2 years of applicable online ad trafficking experience using DART/DFP ad server or similar
Experience with an ad ops process tools such as Operative Dashboard or Dart Sales Manager
Experience with ad remnant networks and Google Adsense
Experience with SalesForce.com a plus
Familiarity with LightningCast a plus
Basic knowledge of HTML, Flash and JavaScript
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Incredible attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
