Job Description
Defining the scope of the project based on customer requirements, constraints and assumptions established with stakeholders
Providing project leadership from original concept through final implementation, cost control and execution of new systems development projects, enhancements and system release upgrades
Managing project scope and risks, preparing and tracking project plans, resolves issues, manage estimates and schedules to ensure business deliverables are completely satisfied, on-time and within budget
Developing and managing continuous improvement of the project management methodology and governance strategy
Recognizing and communicating in a timely manner the need for escalation or managerial support in a matrix working environment
Working collaboratively across departments to communicate goals, success criteria and performance measures
Demonstrating leadership, courage and a bias for action
Delegating work and mentoring Project Lead I and II and providing coaching and feedback to less experienced team members
Work independently on moderately or not clearly defined scoped projects that are complex, high risk, large projects ($1M+) with project duration between 12 to 36 months and 30-60 team members
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or related field Relevant Experience Required :
Minimum 5 years project management experience
Demonstrated understanding of core business principles, and ability to create business cases and work breakdown structure -project plan, project milestones, dependencies, responsibilities and timelines
Business knowledge and/or experience Core Competencies required for this role:
