The position reports to the Channel Portfolio Program Manager.
A Security Access Administrator manages the user access control privileges associated with shared computer systems and networks that are managed via a Corporate Security Services tools. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date computer resident records that reflect user contact information, current user privileges, and management authorization for these same user privileges. The Administrator is additionally responsible for immediately terminating user privileges when workers change jobs or leave the company. In a general sense, the Administrator is responsible for promptly updating access control records so that workers have only the access to computers and networks needed to perform their jobs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and cost efficient security database access maintenance and support services to Channel Portfolio internal/external staff using role based access controls.
Add new hires to roles (Employee & Contractor)
Transfer staff to/from Channel roles and inactivate user access upon termination
Add/delete access from roles and add new roles or delete existing roles
Responsible for Certification of roles access and users in roles
Maintain and improve departmental role based and on-boarding processes
Work with other IS departments to exchange best practices and lessons learned
Skill Set:
The person needs to be analytically oriented, with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to understand and assimilate other points of view.
Requires strong oral and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to translate technical and security concepts for non-technical audiences.
Ideal candidate will also have the following qualities:
Ability to communicate well with clients and upper management.
Ability to determine root cause and document those findings clearly.
Act as a desktop subject matter expert and consult on issues/ projects
Communicate situation statuses and negotiate resolutions to issues.
Proven interpersonal and process management skills.

Facilitation of departmental tasks
Ad Hoc analysis, data collection, and other administrative tasks
Minimum Requirements:
Two years of college, vocational, or technical school training resulting in an associate's degree or the equivalent.
Requires a basic understanding of a broad range of IT principles and technologies.
