Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
Use skills in the areas of heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics, kinetics, thermodynamics and chemistry.
Develop and characterize coatings and new materials for imaging technology.
Develop and design coating processes, assembly processes and equipment involving chemical engineering unit operations.
Develop ink making processes and techniques.
Create fluidic, thermal and other physical models of inkjet and electro-photographic printing processes.
Select, characterize, formulate and develop during techniques for adhesives.
Support and optimize existing imaging products, electronic components and related manufacturing techniques.
Develop and design imaging products and electronic components.
Provides environmental and safety engineering support for manufacturing operations.
Experience Required
2 years of lab experience in a chemical setting.
2 years of experience as a chemical engineer or materials engineer.
1 year experience in the field of polymers.
Education Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a science discipline.
