The business analyst is responsible for providing strategic direction for the branch staffing model; providing analysis and interpretation of staffing model data; managing and manipulating data extracts; proactively developing and creating reports/tools, on both a strategic and tactical level to provide insight, guidance and direction to the business unit; and ensuring the integrity and validity of model data and analysis. The business analyst is also responsible for providing forecasting and analysis that ensures accurate, complete and timely information is available to support business processes, decision making and the overall effective management of the retail branch network.
Knowledge for this position is normally acquired by completion of a Bac helor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing data for the purpose of drawing conclusions and business cases. Strong understanding of the retail banking business is preferred. Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, extreme attention to detail and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.
This position can be located at a National City facility in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
