John Deere Agricultural Equipment division is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a working Supervisor and provide work direction for the MR tractor platform. In this position, you will:
Establish and maintain code content for the MR tractor platform.
Provide technical selection rules to Complete Goods to allow Deere Variant Configuration rules to be written.
Establish a method to document technical selection rules.
Evaluate existing business processes and assist in resolving issues that arise relating to those processes.
Perform regular specification activities, decision & IR preparation and routing, and ensure that unit processes are in alignment with Division processes and objectives.
Answer SAP related questions and provide general coordination of activities of the Specification Analysts III.
Investigate, analyze and resolve business process issues in order to correct deficiencies, reduce costs and improve processes and performance.
Participate in and facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from the factory and marketing to discuss current and future business process needs.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management/Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Product Engineering and/or Manufacturing experience.
Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) experience.
Experience with the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) and Product Delivery Process (PDP), as well as related tools, systems and databases.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools.
Understanding and working knowledge of Specifications within SAP and ability to prepare Material Masters, Engineering Change Masters and other spec specific transactions .
Desired Skills and Experience
Understanding of product data management systems and has a good understanding of the principles along with the ability to apply the information in semi complex situations, solve problems, conduct analysis and provide support for other users.
Knowledge of the Product Delivery Process with a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge, understands the principles and can independently apply the knowledge.
Understanding of Bill of Materials.
Understanding of Product Delivery Process (PDP) and Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) / Product Data Management (PDM) Change Management Workflow tasks for appropriate impacting organizations.
