John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) is seeking a Project Manager, eBusiness to lead John Deere Custom Performance and related eBusiness initiatives in support of overall business objectives. John Deere Custom Performance provides the ability to manage and update embedded controller software anywhere in the world without removal from the machine. In this position you will: Lead all aspects of John Deere Custom Performance enterprise wide and worldwide. Integrate and enable customer support programming requirements for factories, distributors, the field, and customers. Own the engine programming strategy and help set enterprise direction on ownership of non-engine programming. Maintain technical alignment with Engineering/Focus Controls on embedded software and hardware. Collaborate widely and support internal and external stakeholders. Work with channel partners and internal cross functional teams to benchmark and implement initiatives for new business, product or market opportunities. Effectively integrate and align with worldwide JDPS eBusiness activities related to diagnostics and prognostics. Education Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Business or Information Technology discipline strongly desired or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred. Required Skills and Experience Experience in customer support, engineering or customer acquisition. Demonstrated program management experience; preferably across functional areas. Strong understanding of product and customer support functions, processes and electronic initiatives. Knowledge of JDPS channel, customers, products and markets. Experience in developing and driving electronic solutions. Strong familiarity with full cycle eBusiness solutions in customer support and customer acquisition, order fulfillment and product development functions. Initiative, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in cross functional teams. Desired Skills and Experience Knowledge of various diagnostic tools. Experience in programming tools. Experience in deploying and supporting channel partner solutions. Understanding of market research techniques.
