This position is responsible for all aspects of SEC Reporting within our Finance and Administration organization reporting to our Vice President and Assistant Controller. This individual will be highly motivated and show an immediate comfort interacting with all levels of management, executives, outside committees/auditors and attorneys. Make an impact while performing the following: · Oversee external reporting activities including our quarterly and annual reports (10K/10Q), footnote disclosures, and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) while providing technical research and interpretation for new accounting pronouncements · Analyze quarterly and annual results and present insights and recommendations for actions to management · Prepare all SEC filings and ensure proper disclosure of business in accordance with GAAP · Coordinate quarterly tax provision and public disclosures with outsourced tax firm · Ensure we remain current with all SEC reporting requirements and benchmark processes and procedures against other public registrants What does it take to be successful? 1. Self-Motivation!!! 2. Superior written and verbal communication skills 3. Excellent organizational and project management skills 4. 2 of more years of Big 4 public accounting experience 5. CPA & Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting 6. 3 years direct experience with SEC reporting within a public company 7. 3 years in a Corporate Headquarters Finance & Accounting function 8. Strong Technical Accounting & Analysis skills 9. Software or Technology company acumen desired
