The Windows Gaming Experience security team is the thin line securing our Windows gaming experience against determined attackers from around the world. As a member of this team, you'll be tasked with the creating solutions that seamlessly enable our legitimate users while locking out the hackers and cheaters. You will be responsible for architecture and development of components for our security platform, and helping to define the security practices for the platform. This role requires the ability to look at systems from a hacker's viewpoint, not assuming that the client and server are well-behaved and following the functional specs. The Windows Gaming Experience (WGX) team is a new organization chartered with delivering the most compelling game experiences to the world's largest connected community. A successful candidate must have: Strong development skills in C/C++ A passion for gaming Good design aesthetics and security mindedness Strong communication skills and the ability to drive issues to completion Extremely high integrity. A thirst for growth and striving towards engineering excellence A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work is experience is preferred. Prior experience in security technologies (Windows security, anti-malware/spyware/virus, DRM, web security, etc) is preferred but not required.
