Shea Properties owns and manages over 7,000 apartment homes and 5.2 million square feet of commercial real estate property. Duties The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the apartment community in accordance with Shea Properties standards, policies and procedures. Performs and/or delegates specific carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, masonry, appliance and other general and preventative maintenance repairs. Schedule all maintenance with outside vendors in preparation for move ins. Review/codes all invoices and assures payments comply with budget. Review monthly budget reports including variance explanation as well as prepare annual property budget. On call service is required. Support and supervise a team. Contribute to the overall success of the property. Knowledge and Experience 4-5 years Maintenance Supervisor experience with large property. Strong scheduling and organization skills. Must have experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry & HVAC systems. Customer service experience, good communication skills both written & verbal. Outlook, Excel, Word (Yardi a plus.) Skills and Abilities High School Diploma Required. Must own hand tools, drills, screw drivers, hammers etc.
