Yes Date Posted 07/30/2008 Closing Date (Things you should know about closing dates) 10/27/2008 Position Description Provide direct support to senior-level managers in assisting in the execution of complex and fast reengineering or business expansion efforts. Work closely with the Chief, Afghanistan-Pakistan Counterterrorism Division (PTA) to develop programmatic guidance and budget execution plans for the CTAAC. Write a CTAAC CONOPS, to include NGA goals and objectives as well as SOCOMs ISR Way Ahead. The CONOPS will describe one CTAAC operating with nodes at Langley, Virginia, and St Louis, Missouri. This requires understanding NGAs counterterrorism roles within the DoD and IC. Track and manage CTAAC projects from concept refinement to implementation--including: Providing recommendations and suggestions to the government program manager on program goals, schedules, and deliverables; Interacting with project leads to document, track, and update milestones; Identifying discrepancies and risk; Suggesting mitigation options; Building briefs and other documents to communicate status and efforts to senior leadership; The following skills and abilities are necessary to achieve success in this mission requirement: Demonstrated ability to interpret NGA facility requirements, acquisition, and space planning processes; Demonstrated ability to convey technical topics both verbally and in writing to senior leadership and staff members to effect decisions; Demonstrated ability to work in a very dynamic and demanding work environment, working effectively under pressure; Expertise in Microsoft Office Software applications; Demonstrated ability to formulate problem analysis and resolution; Manages employees performing activities to plan, gather, analyze and interpret intelligence and imagery data.
