No Date Posted 07/31/2008 Closing Date (Things you should know about closing dates) 09/29/2008 Position Description Analyzes intellectual property (IP) policy and procedural issues and develops enterprise-wide IP policies and procedures to identify, protect and leverage intellectual property. Writes and publishes IP policies and procedures in compliance with PRO-1 and BPI-1. Monitors implementation of Intellectual Property policies and procedures at the business unit level to ensure appropriate and consistent compliance. Reviews and approves/denies deviations from IP policies and procedures. Informs targeted communities of appropriate procedures and policies related to Intellectual Property. Helps develop and deploy training and education programs consistent with enterprise initiatives to strengthen Intellectual Property awareness and compliance. Identifies and communicates IP management best practices. Collects and analyzes data to support cross functional teams developing and deploying IP policies and procedures. Helps implement IP policies and procedures by presenting Intellectual Property policies and procedures to specific audiences. Works under minimal direction. Teaches others to use computer-based training authoring systems. Determines tools for use in courseware and instructs other trainers on use of multimedia tools. Other Job related information This assignment can represent the IPM policy group from any major Boeing locations; Philadelphia, Seattle, Seal Beach, or St Louis. It is preferred that the candidate work in Philadelphia or Seattle.
