SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, assists the Audit Data Processing Specialist with review, research and resolution of ambiguous donor pledges and fully-paid gifts. Also performs digital imaging and archiving of pledge documentation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES: Researches and processes checks and pledges. Inputs and retrieves alphanumeric information in prescribed format using various computer software packages. Verifies data to ensure accuracy of completed work and makes corrections when appropriate. Balances pledge batches and reconciles errors. Images checks, pledges, and supporting documentation. Performs clerical and miscellaneous job-related duties as needed. Position may entail overtime during evenings and weekends. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent with one year of cash handling experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information Strong analytic skills. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Ability to work well under pressure. Skilled in use of personal computers and related software applications. Ability to recognize when data falls outside of normal parameters and utilize supervisor to resolve issues. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Position requires: a) audit of donor pledges and performance of routine mathematical calculations, b) utilization of keyboard to input alphanumeric data, and c) operation of a digital imager. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work is normally performed in a confined interior/office work environment. Exposure to warm/cool temperature fluctuations and some noise. No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Position works under constant time requirements/constraints.
