Grade Level 5 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Process internet setup and maintenance requests for customers. 2. Process credit card and debit card setup and maintenance requests for customers. 3. Process garnishments and levies as needed. 4. Processing credit verifications as needed. 5. Maintain and process IOLTA and IRETA accounts. 6. Process subpoena and research requests as needed. 7. Process NSF, chargebacks, overdraft privilege and return items on a daily basis. 8. Provide backup for ACH and wire origination duties. 9. Assure all banking compliance standards are met and attend required training. 10. Obtain job enhancement courses twice per year. 11. Perform other duties as assigned. ENVIRONMENTAL / PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS The Operations Specialist performs the major portion of his / her duties by communicating verbally in person and over the telephone with other team members and our customers. Although seated much of the time, he / she must be able to move freely around our facilities. He / she must possess the ability to accurately read and inspect for error or fraud; reports, computer printouts, delivery and billing forms, letters and paper containing important financial instructions. He / she must be able to verbally communicate with clarity, while understanding and explaining information as diverse as banking regulations to mathematical equations. Due to data entry responsibilities this individual must possess full use of both hands and have excellent close vision. This position may be required to travel to other branches occasionally. QUALIFICATIONS * 1 - 2 years experience in banking, operations experience preferred. * Proven skills in organizing, working with details and meeting deadlines. * Proficiency working with computer generated information & financial data. * Accurate keyboarding, data entry and typing skills. * High School Diploma or equivalent.
