As a developer on this team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a portfolio of applications and components that showcase the capabilities of the platform while addressing key customer scenarios. We are laser-focused on providing unique value and blowing users away with the quality of visual and interactive design. The challenges and opportunities presented by multi-touch and direct manipulation capabilities of the platform allow you to create unique solutions to problems that were not feasible before. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 to 7 years (depending on level) experience developing commercial software. A strong passion for creating a world-class user experience. Excellent software design skills and a proven track record of producing rock-solid code in C# or C++. Previous experience building desktop UI using WPF or XNA is highly desirable Candidates should have knowledge and experience using agile development processes and be effective at communicating technical design. A BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience is required. This is a great opportunity to become part of a small agile team working with managed code on a new product category that has lot of visibility both inside and outside of Microsoft.
