We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Project Management Specialist - Publishing for our team in Monterey , CA . The Project Management Specialist - Publishing is an integral partner with departmental and interdepartmental stakeholders to provide strategic planning, risk assessment, solution creation, and information management. This position is responsible for collaborating with the Project Management Office Director and Publishing Project Managers in the development and implementation support of publishing project management processes, methodology, and tools. Develop project standards and metrics, conduct benchmarking analyses, and identify process, performance, and improvement metrics. Manage the collecting, analyzing, and reporting of project metrics across all projects. Conduct quality and risk audits. Design, develop, and support the implementation of Publishing and project management budget processes and the development and maintenance of a publishing-wide budget to actuals dashboard. Provide one on one coaching to project managers for budget tracking, estimate to complete processes, and medium range plan budgets. Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of project management knowledge and information management systems, with a focus on efficient and effective implementation of publishing's customized content repository and electronic workflow system (Monarch). Required Qualifications : Must have a bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience. Additional Required Experience : Two year's experience working on complex educational assessment projects required. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with distributed, virtual teams required. Experience in tracking project budgets and the estimate to complete process. Must have excellent demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Must be highly organized, self directed, and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
