District Operations Manager Crescent Electric Supply Co . is currently seeking a District Operations Manager in our quickly growing Jamaica (Queens), NY location to oversee the daily district business operations. Will work hand in hand with the District Manager to create and adhere to a fiscally sound plan that leads to the attainment of the company's financial and performance goals. This person acts as the Chief Operating Officer for this 2 location, $50 million district. Primary duties include: Continually striving to improve customer service through process improvements in sales, warehousing, billing and logistics. Lead responsibility for district assets and financials Analyze all profitability enhancement opportunities and design and implement programs to drive improved results. Working closely with the department managers to implement process changes that drive improved results in accounts receivables and inventory utilization. Conducting new employee orientation, performance reviews, and mainframe/computer training Developing and maintaining training matrixes and training logs for all personnel Providing leadership for quality control. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of management experience and 5 years of experience in the wholesale distribution industry. We prefer at least 5 years of experience in a financial analysis or controller role. Must have superb detail orientation, people management, negotiation, problem solving, communication, and PC skills.
