*** We are a direct consultant to Microsoft Federal Services and are actively hiring for this team. *** Specific knowledge in the following areas are highly desired. - SCCM design and deployment - SCCM xtensions for OSD - SCOM 2007, including desktop management - Softgrid infrastructure Proven project planning and management skills (Microsoft Project proficient) Knowledge of how to apply the Microsoft Solutions Framework in a deployment project is required. The role requires an individual who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both crisis management and expectation management. The ideal candidate will have experience with technical project management. In addition, a working knowledge of the U.S. Intelligence Community is highly desired. Primary Technical Skills must include experience using Microsoft Softgrid Ver 3.x and 4.x, SMS and MOM. Secondary expertise in more than one of the following products: Windows desktop Operating Systems, Windows server Operating Systems. Other technical depth should include experience with advanced debugging tools in XP, Exchange, Office, and SQL, and/or development skills in one or more of the following: Transact-SQL, VB, VBA, VBScript, C++, VJ++, Jscript, HTML/DHTML, and XML. The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience including expertise in enterprise architecture as well as infrastructure deployment and/or distributed system implementation. Due to the nature of this work with the government applicants must be US citizens, and hold or be able to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance and pass both a Counter-Intelligence and Full Scope Polygraph. The successful applicant must be able to start within 30 days of offer acceptance.
