Job description:
The Data Warehouse Integration Engineer will design, develop, and support processes using Oracle 10g and the Informatica ETL tool consistent with the company's technical vision, standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oracle data flow architecture
* Develop new or maintain existing Informatica mappings and workflows based on specifications
* Develop, implement and maintain unit tests for applications
* Participate in requirements gathering and definition.
* Leading the design of new or changing mappings and workflows and producing requisite specifications
* Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the applications implemented with Informatica
* Administrative tasks associated with the Informatica platform such as stopping/starting Informatica Repository and Server processes, performing code migration, backup and restore of Informatica Repository, and security administration.
* Participate in cross-functional efforts to support other teams
* Sharing knowledge by effectively documenting work
* Maintain expert level of knowledge in area of expertise.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
* 6+ years experience in Oracle ETL development
* Experience with Informatica
* Working in Oracle 10g environments in a data integration (ETL) capacity
* Experience with Data Modeling (logical, 3NF and Dimensional)
* Extensive PL/SQL and SQL skills.
