TiVo is in need of an experienced Tooling Engineer responsible for quick turn mechanical prototypes, packaging design and optimal production tooling: Here is what you get to do: Handle Prototype Material Management Explore prototype suppliers and match necessary technology Select appropriate materials and processes Manage schedules for early engineering builds Track expenditures and provide quarterly financial reports to management Help with the supplier selection process and coordinate approval of proofs Schedule press checks Supervise ISTA-2A testing and reporting Design cartons and end caps Provide green analysis for materials Additional areas of responsibilities: Assist engineering and operations teams with requests for proposals Conduct ROI analysis as well as capacity and cavitations analysis Manage tool lists Plan for refurbishing, maintenance and replacement and all associated costs Perform design consultation Support operations and engineering teams in procurement Provide quality specifications and inspection documents Here is what you'll need to be successful: 7-10 years experience as a tooling engineering professional Expertise with the above mentioned requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills TiVo is unique.
