SPS/IW Developer Consultant Consultant, Microsoft Public Sector Services. In order to better support our Federal customers, we are actively hiring Consultants who have a powerful combination of advanced technology and strategic business acumen. The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect a solution by mapping a customer's business problem to an end-to-end technology solution. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and .NET is also a must. Senior Consultants manage the complete lifecycle of large and complex projects. They have a passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. The MCS Consultant applies advanced analysis skills and experience in principals of software design and deployment to define appropriate customer solutions. To be credible he or she must have current and deep experience with implementation of large enterprise networked computing environments including directories, messaging, collaboration and application architecture. He or she should also have a deep understanding of line-of-business application development for large enterprise customers. Advanced domain knowledge in US Government is required. The Federal Services Consultant must have proven experience managing projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role requires an individual who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both crisis management and expectation management. We are particularly looking for consultants with experience in Information Worker development on the Microsoft platform. The successful candidate will have: · BS/BA degree · At least 3 years development experience with Microsoft SPS and Microsoft development tools · A minimum of 8 years experience in software development in large enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with technical project management. In addition, a working knowledge of the Federal DOD, Civilian Agency or Intelligence Community is required. An active or in-process security clearance is highly desired with an active, higher level clearance preferred. Due to the sensitive nature of the work and the clearance requirements a US Citizenship is required. Additional qualifications include hands-on experience in several of the following: security, mobility, directory services, identity management, SQL, Windows platform design and implementation, .NET development, Microsoft applications including SharePoint, BizTalk, MOSS and Microsoft Office System. Frequent travel (up to 40%) is an integral part of this job, as are high levels of recognition and visibility.
