Description HIM Technician III is responsible for the following: · Perform (IN,INO,SDC) Assembly and Analysis, · Inputting deficiencies into Meditech system · Manage OE interface · Updating/Reanalyzing and filing into the incomplete/permanent file areas. Routing Records · Managing Birth certificate Process · Attach loose reports to in process records · Posting of transcription. · Other duties include pulling charts for physicians and staff and answering the telephone Qualifications Education : A. High School Graduate or equivalent. 2. Experience : A. Computer knowledge required. B Knowledge of routine office procedure and equipment. C. Two years work related experience D. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. 3. Specific Requirements : A. Must type 45 wpm accurately. B. Must understand confidential nature of hospital work. C. Analytical skills D. Written and verbal communication skills E. Quality control/audit skills (ability to review) F. Training/orientation skills G. Meditech experience preferred but not required
