John Deere Power Systems is seeking an IT Analyst to perform system configuration, system testing, end user training, and end user support for the EDI and workflow processes in the JDPS SAP landscape. In this position, you will :
Perform system configuration, system testing, end user training, and end user support for the EDI and Workflow processes in the JDPS SAP landscape.
Serve as a liaison to ensure IT direction for JDPS units are aligned with enterprise and division direction.
Analyze and implement business requirements related to EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) involving computer to computer exchange of business data in a standard format between Trading Partners (suppliers, customers and inter-factory users).
Analyze and implement business requirements related to the use of SAP's Workflow feature and Microsoft's Outlook (e-mail) capabilities.
Serve as leader for JDPS "Community of Practice" representatives to orchestrate enterprise, divisional and unit processes.
Participate on project teams with requirements for additional development of EDI or workflow processes.
Serve as primary contact for break/fix reports relating to EDI and workflow processes.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
2+ years of Information Technology EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) using North American Automotive Industry Action (AIAG) standards and infrastructure utilizing 3rd party mailboxes.
1+ years of SAP experience in the configuration of SAP.
Knowledge of integrated business processes such as SAP Workflow, Sales/Distribution and Supply Management.
Previous experience in programming/software development.
Understanding of applications development environment, infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
Understanding of database administration, and database design.
Analytical skills required to translate and define business requirements into technical solutions.
Available to travel 25% of the time, including international.
Desired Skills and Experience
Capable of collaborating with key manufacturing managers to implement manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
Experience implementing major Information Technology programs or projects with a broad scope (i.e. multi-functional/multi-plant).
Skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Work experience in a team environment.
