Nurse Manager NTSICU
The Nurse Manager, under the direction of the Vice President, is responsible for the twenty-four hour coordination & supervision of the daily operations of the unit. The Nurse Manager participates in program development and unit performance improvement. The Nurse Manager may provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff. The Nurse Manager consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees. These services further the mission of Enloe Medical Center, which is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve. Must have five years acute care nursing experience and one year charge nurse experience. Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing, PALS, Hemodynamics (or equivalent),Critical Care Course (or equivalent)and Basic Arrhythmia (or equivalent)required. Current CPR. Enloe requires a current American Heart Association, Healthcare Provider (HCP) or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer CPR certification. Bachelors degree in nursing or related field desired. Recent management experience desired. Membership in a professional organization and attendance to conferences regarding management and supervision of employees desired. Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements to include JCAHO standards, Title 22 regulations, and Medicare Conditions of Participation. Must have knowledge of or ability to learn financial management and reporting, quality improvement processes, and human resources management. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must
have the ability to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information and problem solve. Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment Behavior should be reflective of Enloe Medical Center core values.
