Overview
Murphy, McKay is seeking a technical solutions expert and Window's server engineer to be responsible for core infrastructure and engineering environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience in systems, storage, and troubleshooting solutions within a complex, multi-site environment.
Requirements
Perform analysis, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of servers, operating systems, and software applications.
Provide senior level systems administration duties for Windows servers, including Active Directory, Exchange and Windows Server Update Services systems.
Perform setup and administration of virtual machines and resources using VMWare 3.x
Perform administration of servers and applications running in a Citrix Presentation Server 3.x and above environment
Perform administration of Backup Exec 11.x and above
Participate in development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery (DR) procedures & BCP plans
Provide senior level leadership to the operations team, and provide technical guidance to more junior staff members
