John Deere Construction and Forestry is seeking a Product Engineer to design and develop new hydraulic components and systems for skid steer loaders. In this position, you will:
Be part of a cross functional team that is responsible for the design, cost, quality and reliability of hydraulic components/systems in new product programs.
Travel to customers and suppliers.
Education
Four year degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with hydraulic components.
2+ years Product engineering experience.
2+ years experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
Experience with a 3-D modeling tool such as Pro/E.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in hydraulic systems design.
Experience with ProPiping.
Familiarity with a hydraulic modeling package such as Easy5.
Electrical/electronics experience.
Experience with construction equipment and related engineering principles.
Experience working with customers and end users.
