Are you passionate about analyzing and solvi ng challenging problems and being an advocate for the customer? The roles and responsibilities of this position will be oriented around bringing large teams together by focusing on interoperability and driving product quality metrics.
He/she will be responsible for designing and executing feature and product scenarios that challenge the architecture of Windows Mobile and push it to the limits of its breaking point. This candidate must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be able to focus them in a way to break software efficiently and effectively. Candidate must also have strong organization and communications skills, to effectively present and communicate software metrics and status to multiple teams. He/she will be responsible for understanding the needs and requirements of the user, mobile operator and external teams to design and code efficient and effective automated cases that will test, stress, and report results under all types of conditions. They will be required to create and maintain well structured documentation including but not limiting to test plans which will contain the plan and dependencies for the device as a whole. Candidate must have at least 3-5 years experience in the test field and hold at least a bachelor of science/engineering degree or equivalent.
This candidate will leverage existing test tools and report the issues found clearly and regularly in the internal bug tracking utility. Additionally, the candidate will contribute in defining new methods of testing strategy to enable Microsoft to continue to exceed customer expectations.
